About Us

Youth Lynks is a registered Community Charity that strives to improve the quality of our young people’s mental health and wellbeing in the Birmingham and Solihull Community.

We run events, workshops and support groups in these areas for children and young people to get involved.

As a registered charity we are governed by a Board of Trustees responsible for our direction. Our trustees and volunteers have a wealth of experience. They are dedicated to supporting children and young people’s wellbeing, mental health, training, and life skills.

Our Trustees are:

  • Khat
  • Naseema
  • Aliyah
  • Latifah

Our Mission

To support the health, wellbeing and empowerment of children and young people, their families and communities. Through prevention, education and support, overcome challenges and barriers to lead fulfilling lives and have a positive future.

Our Aims

Hope: our support is available to assist in overcoming challenges and barriers that exist and reduce feeling alone and isolated. Access to our projects and support groups is voluntary and you do not need a diagnosis, we work with anyone who is struggling.

Recovery: is a journey through discovering your own resources and reaching your goals.

Protecting and improving Health and Wellbeing: mental and physical health are inextricably linked.

Education and understanding within the community and society helps reduce stigma and prejudice.

Our values

We are committed to inclusion, and valuing diversity. We believe that every child and young person deserves to feel accepted, valued and empowered.

Acceptance: every person has the right to be respected and treated with compassion, regardless of their race, disability, age, sexual orientation, gender, economic status.
We believe it’s important for children and young people to know that whatever challenges they face, they’re not isolated or on their own.
